Open Letter to Beloved Readers

Dear Beloved Readers,

Just wanted to write a quick note and apologize for my extended absence. I've been too wrapped up following the Charlie Sheen insanity going through some things on a personal level and will be back tomorrow with answers to the questions you guys asked in response to my previous post.

In the meantime, let me share this:

The other night I walked into the bedroom, flicked on the light and announced "There had better NOT be any cats under the bed."

(Note: We have two cats and they sometimes hide under the bed, even though they KNOW they are not allowed in the bedroom.)

After a brief pause, I said the following (in my best "commercial for a D.A. candidate" voice): "John Neeb -- Tough on cats, tough on crime."

Sadly, I was completely sober (as is usually the case).

Kind regards,

The Ducks Guy

  1. I have to admit that I have no idea why the spacing on this is goofy... especially because most of my posts are drafted in Word first and then cut and pasted into Blogger, thus enabling the possibility of spacing issues. But this time I composed it all -- since it's short -- in Blogger.

I'm through messing around with it, though. *sigh*

  2. Hey J.M.!
Cut and paste as if they were html and then it will format correctly. Something I found out by trial and error.
    Glad you're back.

  3. Good to see you back John. Way to let those cats know who's boss. Myself, I've lost all control of mine.

  4. Hope everything is okay. I like the tough guy act with the cats. I use it on the dogs but they lay on the couch anyway.

  5. Loving the strikethrough!!! ;) Were the cats under the bed? Just curious if they're more obedient than my dog. I always wondered what a teenage girl would act like, I just never realized I would find out from my dog.
